With technology constantly being updated and enhanced, we're constantly on the lookout for the best deals to stay up-to-date. The headphone market is certainly no exception, bringing us some of the best headphone deals of the year.

If you want to upgrade your earbud experience, the Beats Fit Pro is only $159 at Amazon ($40 off). Or, if you're an audiophile looking for headphones with the best immersive experience, the Apple AirPods Max is just $449 at Amazon($100 off).

Amazon Prime Day is one of the best sales events to take advantage of whether you're looking to upgrade your digital setup or get an early start on your back-to-school shopping.

When do Prime Day headphone deals start?

Soon.

But in all seriousness, Amazon has confirmed that their popular Black Friday-esque sale will return in July. While they haven't announced the official dates yet, we're guessing it will be sometime in the middle of the month.

What headphones go on sale for Prime Day?

Typically we see a whole plethora of sales across all brands, from Sennheiser to Sony, Bose to Beats, even tech giants such as Apple will be tossing out savings.

This year we're expecting to see plenty of sales rivaling – or beating – Black Friday prices

Do I need Amazon Prime to shop deals?

Actually, no! You don't need to be subscribed to Amazon's service exactly, but Amazon Prime members will be seeing exclusive sales and get the honor of shopping Prime Day deals earlier than everyone else.

If you don't want to miss out, keep in mind Amazon offers a 30-day free trial of Prime so you can try out the Perks of Prime before fully committing to the fee.

Will other retailers have Prime Day sales?

For legal reasons they can't advertise "Prime Day" sales, but plenty of retailers keep up on the competition by staging their own summer savings events.

Expect to see big sales events from big box retailers such as Walmart and Best Buy, as well as significant sales from our favorite manufacturers such as Dell, HP, Microsoft, Samsung and more.
